Photography featured in STUDIO magazine

The Spring/Summer 2022 edition of STUDIO magazine recognizes recipient of the 2022 Governor General’s Award in Visual and Media Arts, David Ruben Piqtoukun. The article includes photo credits for five images by Black River Media. Thank you to STUDIO magazine for the request and recognition.

Black River Media’s role leading up to the GGArts award was collaboration with the artist and the nominator on creating application content, i.e. documentation and visual assets for the award application. After the award was announced came the requests from publications and other arts interests for additional content in various forms including creative writing, photography and video.
